I've been playing guitar and singing privately for years. However, through supporting a family for many years I have not been able to pursue my musical interests until now that my kids are older and I'm divorced. I'm looking for a group and/or individuals that I can learn from, and grow with musically. I have been working diligently to recover my skills I once put aside on the guitar and gain new skills. I'm not at a professional level at this point but I intend to grow and learn to the point where I can take part in a band to play a few gigs a month. I'm interested in a band where multiple members take the mic depending on a song. I'd like to play my heart out here and there and sing my ass of here and there as well but don't need to be the front man all the time. I have a variety of songs I can play well, and a variety of songs I can sing well and they don't always overlap.
