Hey y'all! I'm a djembe fanatic and singer/songwriter looking for like-minded folks to jam with. I'm interested in playing backing hand percussion (haven't learned to play kit - yet), as well as working on my own songs. My dream is to create a touring band that would feature lots of drummers, other instruments, dancers & fire spinners! We're on our way... are you the missing link we need to make it happen?

Influences
I want to raise consciousness through music in the great tradition of artists such as Robert Nesta Marley. The stuff I write is influenced by artists such as Spiral Rhythm, Ani DiFranco, and S.J. Tucker (Skinny White Chick). I love playing music of all styles as long as it has heart and soul!
EQUIPMENT
Djembe, bongos, drum machine, bass guitar, various small hand percussion. I'm hopefully getting an acoustic guitar for Christmas. Various members of my tribe have (many) djembes, a djun-djun, and guitars. And multiple incendiary devices.

We meet every Wednesday night @ the U.U. Congregation building, just outside of Bellaire, OH. We start around 8:30 and usually play until 11 p.m. - later if it's a really killer jam. Contact me for more info!
