ABOUT
I have been involved in music in some, way, shape, or form for the past 40+ years. I am part of a musical duo with my wife but also open to a serious band to add my/our musical gifts to in the Hot Springs area. My level of commitment is somewhat dependent on the frequency of gigs and the ability to make some money doing what I love. We are not retired yet so have to consider our day jobs!
My strongest instrument would be keyboards with guitar being second. I am a bit stronger on rhythm than lead but I can manage both. I can do some vocals but my wife is an accomplished vocalist.
I am open to a variety of sizes/genres of groups and ensembles. As long as you are not playing Metal, Disco, Punk or Rap or doing anything that is not "family friendly", I can probably fit in just fine. ;) I am pretty easy going and don't have a BIG ego to feed. I just love music!

Influences
Too many to list...seriously! I am quite eclectic in taste! I like traditional Country music and Country Rock (popular in the late 60's/early 70's) and have been influenced by a number of artists in that genre! I also love 50s, 60s and 70s "oldies" and have also been influenced by a number of bands like the Beatles, Beach Boys,, Grateful Dead, and many many others. I enjoy classical, some Jazz, Easy Listening/Adult Contemporary, Bluegrass, Celtic, etc. so all of these genres have had some influence on my playing throughout the years at one time or another and probably show up here and there in the way I play today! We are also committed Christians and love to play traditional Gospel and Contemporary Christian music as well.
