My name is Francis, and I love to sing. I've been singing publicly since I was 8, and, though my aspirations have changed significantly over the years, music remains the only thing in the world that never stops making sense. I auditioned for every musical competition I could find from the ages of 16-20, including 8 American Idol auditions, 2 for The Voice, and a handful of local country contests. My goals now lean more toward songwriting and studio recording. My top goal is to find a songwriting collaborator who can play either guitar or piano. I have several incomplete pieces that could use a discerning ear. If we can get a decent song set down, I would like to perform them live. I am also interested in recording covers. I guess I'm just looking for someone with similar interests who isn't solely interested in touring or booking shows. As you can see by my listed influences, I'm not hardcore by a longshot, but I think I'm moderately talented, and I'd love to hear what you think.
