I am 24 and looking for a band. I am into anything on the heavier side...I have been playing guitar for about 12 years or so. I enjoy playing heavy music, and screaming is often necessary...but i would rather work with a vocalist that has an amazing singing voice. My vision is to have two guitarists of equal or near equal ability. I think that is very important for the writing process, as well as for live shows.

Influences
My top two influences are tool and avenged sevenfold...I would really like a sound of our own...rather than "hey, they sound exactly like..." I realize that each of us are influenced by many bands and artists, however it is key to create that unique sound.
EQUIPMENT
I currently have a Schecter guitar and a Marshall half stack...some effects.
