ABOUT

I listen to all kinds of music, but particularly art/prog rock from the 70's, classic metal and grunge. I'm a groove oriented drummer, not much for flash or extremes. I like to play heavy, but also appreciate the softer/more intricate side of things. I can play odd time signatures. While I have a double bass pedal, I don't use it much.

I don't drink, smoke, or take any sort of drug. No drama generated, not much of an ego, I just want to play. I'm not too picky about the genre of music I play, good tunes is good tunes. What I find most satisfying is playing original music with cool people. Kept a band together for 7 years through 5 lineup changes. I'm dependable and I'll always make time for the band, no matter how inconvenient. I own a house where we can practice.

I write (not brilliant) lyrics and write a little bit of music.
