ABOUT
I'm looking for some folks near Suwanee who want to get together a few times a month to play for fun. I say, "Quantity over quality!". We don't have to be "professional-grade" musicians to enjoy playing music.
Guitar: I've been playing for awhile and know lots of chords; mainly rhythm, with lots of fills and alternate fingering options. Want sus 4, add 6, add 9? I've got 'em! Need 7-chord options? Let me count the ways (6). I prefer electric over acoustic.
Bass: New for 2017, it's my "hot growth" area. I've got the basics down and adding techniques (almost) daily.
The Net: I'm happy to play either instrument.
My preferred group would include electric guitar, bass, keys and drums plus vocals.
And, I'm willing to sing (if you'll have me!). Some audio samples are provided.

Influences
I love the Blues, but really any blues-based music; rock, jazz, even some progressive, country and pop. Open to metal. Not a fan of acoustic-driven songs (James Taylor, Taylor Swift), but OK with its complementary use.
What songs do YOU want to play? Let's compare lists. My name is Paul Johnson, and I have a list of songs I've already worked on, or would like to play (it's 5 pages long).
