I have been playing guitar and bass for quite some time, with some mild experience on drums and keyboard / piano. I have been in several bands, none of which have seen any success and ever went anywhere. I may be interested in joining a band, but I want to be involved with the creative process. I have pre-written songs, some finished some not. I'm looking to be part of a collaborative process, and will struggle if you are only looking for someone to quietly fill a role. For this reason, depending on how developed and far along you are in the music making process, I may not be a good fit for a well-established band, unless I really like your music lol. Or if you are open to change if necessary. I can play bass or guitar depending on what the final setup for the band looks like, and can take lead or backup vocals as necessary. I can play keyboard, but not well enough to perform consistently. Same is true for drums. All of this said, I'm not hard to get along with and like working with passionate people. I'm open to many different styles and influences, but my musical home has been always will be metal. I find as of late I have been leaning more into progressive metal, and explore some Latin jazz elements. On bass, I have good experience playing funk as well. For me it's important to be open to exploring different styles and not being too stuck in one genre. And what I really look for in people I work with are influences that don't match my own, but with enough overlap we can still find common ground. Big into philosophy and Occult literature. Let's change the world.
