Sandor Szatmari, an accomplished musician hailing from the United States, is a versatile artist known for his ability to create original music across various genres. He cut his teeth in the NYC underground and Hard Core music scenes. Sandor's passion for music was nurtured from a young age, leading him on an extraordinary journey through different projects and musical landscapes from classic to Death Metal and everything in between.

Currently, Sandor is an integral part of Carolina Clay, a captivating band that has been making waves since 2020. In Carolina Clay, Sandor showcases his exceptional skills on bass and drums, contributing to their unique sound rooted in Outlaw Country. Their performances at renowned venues such as Ziggy's 'Cohab Space' and The Millennium Center have garnered widespread acclaim.

Prior to Carolina Clay, Sandor was a member of dialUp Radio from 2017 to 2020. As the drummer for this electrifying cover band, he transported audiences back to the golden eras of rock, delivering energetic renditions of beloved hits from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Sandor's solid rhythmic foundation and dynamic stage presence made dialUp Radio an unforgettable experience for fans.

In 2002 - 2003, Sandor joined forces with the Joe Rogers Band, serving as their talented bassist. This indie rock project allowed him to explore new musical boundaries, contributing to the band's distinctive sound and captivating audiences with their heartfelt performances.

Before his time with the Joe Rogers Band, Sandor found himself immersed in the world of industrial rock/metal as the drummer for Bombay June/G.O.C from 1997 to 1999. This groundbreaking project took him to iconic venues like CBGBs and Limelight, where Sandor's powerful drumming provided the backbone for their unique blend of industrial rock sounds.

Sandor's musical journey also led him to join Change Inc from 1995 to 1997. In this venture, he displayed his proficiency on bass, contributing to the band's fusion of NuMetal, Hip Hop, and Hardcore elements. Their energetic performances at legendary venues such as CBGBs, Wetlands, and Nightingales captivated audiences and left a lasting impression.

In 1994, Sandor showcased his drumming skills with Manhattan Project, a progressive rock group that pushed boundaries with their intricate compositions. Their performances in the NYC music scene demonstrated Sandor's technical prowess and passion for progressive rock.

Early in his career, Sandor delved into the intense realm of Death Metal as the drummer for Scarecrow in 1991. His thunderous beats and precise timing added an unparalleled energy to their performances.

Beyond his notable projects, Sandor has lent his talents as a bassist or drummer to numerous bands as a substitute member, including Taylor Mason, 90 Proof Punch, QuinnCrowe, Evenflow, Hella Stellar, Ashton Eller, and Bourbon Arcade. These experiences further enriched his musical journey and allowed him to collaborate with a diverse range of artists.

In addition to his extensive live performances, Sandor Szatmari has also proven himself as a skilled songwriter and composer. His latest single, 'Hardened Heart,' released in 2021, showcases his talent for crafting compelling and emotive original music.
