I want to find a local group of similarly experienced folks in the Richardson area who, like me, are interested in playing music together but DO NOT have as their intention or aspiration to preform on stage. It seems like 99% of the people my age I see trying to find a group to play with are dreaming the stage dream (Poor David's Pub, et al) and want post menopausal women to fawn over them for their marginal talents and band playing coolness. I just want to hang out with some semi old dudes and dudettes to jam. I don’t memorize songs. I don’t play Hotel California. I am not a fuzz and power chord hero awaiting the return of Bon Scott. I just want to set a groove and generate e waves in my brain with some other folks. When I'm not with you I'm playing with backing tracks on YouTube. I should not be in your church band (my footprints leave burn marks when I'm in a church)
