ABOUT

Originally named the Southern Limits Band a modern country/southern rock group Eric Bohannon and Jamie Burns played in the honkytonks and bars for a period of ten years.
During that period of time both had drifted away from the teachings they had been taught as a child. Eric and Jamie had always been raised in church. Eric had come from a family of gospel singers and had always felt the calling in his heart but had always run from the calling.
During August of 2010 something wonderful happened! Eric fully trusted Jesus and answered the calling to sing the gospel and began to develop ideas to sing the gospel. Jesus put a new song in their heart. What terrific news that was for those of us who love them and enjoy their music. Eric along with Jamie focused on putting together a new group which is now called the Glory Bound Travelers.
They are now joined by some very talented Christian Brother musicians Steve Cagle, Chad Bohannon, Thomas Pigman, and Ricky Nix all from Calhoun Ga. It is this personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that shines through the Glory Bound Travelers testimony, music and personality. Their love for Jesus is reflected to all. Anyone who meets them can't help but notice how much they are enjoying every step of their journey with their Savior and Friend.
Anyone listing to the Glory Bound Travelers will likely find that their country style is unique but genuine. They have an acute love for Jesus. Their Mission is to see souls saved, lives encouraged, healed and delivered, and to see Jesus Christ lifted up in praise. "We pray that something we sing, say or do will help draw someone closer to Jesus. We intend our music to be a ministry, not entertainment. We open ourselves to sing anywhere we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to be a witness and a light to all who cross our paths so they too can stand tall for what they believe and never be ashamed of the gospel".
The Glory Bound Travelers will be performing throughout the year so please come out. We ask that you pray that they would always do what the Lord would have them to do as they travel for the Lord.
