Green Shoebox Band is a group of musician friends that enjoy sharing a wide variety of music from the 60s through the 2000s.

Our live performances have included events for the cities of Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Merriam, KS and Old Shawnee Days, the VIP pre-show at Starlight Theater before the Doobie Brothers (2023) and before James Taylor (2024), KC United Art Festival, and KKFI Radio 90.1 FM “Local Showcase” interviews, as well as many popular music venues and private events around the Kansas City area.

Influences

Stan started playing drums because of Ringo and appreciates the musical impact of the Beatles. We enjoy the Eagles and many other rock bands. We like the Latin flavor of artists like Santana. RLo, our lead singer/guitarist nails any female rock/pop vocalist such as Bonnie Raitt, Adele, and more.

We are set with our current members but are looking to build a bench of subs or add members if there is a good fit.

EQUIPMENT

We have a flexible sound system for small or larger venues. We use unique instrumentation to achieve our unique sound.
