ABOUT

I have a dozen new, very good, country songs that need to get out there. I want to record and put it all out online. My songs are as good as any show I've been to. I know I'm blowing my own smoke, but it's not smoke and mirrors. Feel free to come by and I do one or two so you know. So I want a band that will meet regularly to work on the music. You should be good enough to perform at Willie's 4th of July picnic. Once we release the music, you're gonna be glad you're on the record.

My songs are very upbeat, positive, heart wrenching, and inspiring. Each one. When I say country, I'm raised on Country music, and I like writing country music as my dad taught me, so we're going to do one song that is about JimmieRodgers, that is a blues style country and we'll need to get a saxaphonist for it. And yes, it's a real country song. Another is super patriotic and we'll get a fiddle on it. I don't know how many people talk like they have great music, but I know a lot do and it isn't. This is not that. I lived most of my life around the drama of dad getting a bullet for Hank Snow or Jim Reeves, or his own ones.

I've studied drums for jazz, blues, hard rock, so I have a lot of ideas for any drummer I work with and am easy to work with, but I play acoustic guitar and lead singer now. I just copyrighted a dozen or so songs to create an album, perform online or live. I did two of them in the studio with lead, bass and drummer. It was a lot of fun, but I am thinking to form a band of talented players where we can put our heads and assets together synergistically.

We can meet at my home in Southeast San Antonio. We have total privacy to practice. I have a large converted garage with a big pool table, fireplace, piano and no kids or distractions. In other words, it's a good setup.

Let's meet and start with one night to go over one of the songs, whatever we need to do to set that up, and then we'll add players and songs as we come to that. First I need the guitarists, so a lead and bass. Either one first. You come over. We do one of the songs and go from there. If you like the song, we'll go from there. 4th of July is coming up fast. If we had it down, we have a chance to perform there. If not, there's always next year. First thing is to get the songs down and be in sync with each other.
