ABOUT
We really work hard at song writing, as we do believe that it is all about the song and its message that's important for us to communicate with an audience. Hemisphere these days works hard to make every song a unique mash-up of two genres or styles that don’t normally go together. That’s why you hear something like Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” in a reggae-ska style with horns replacing the classic guitar riff. If we have to name a style, I guess we are an Album-Oriented-Rock (AOR) group, we'd rather do an album than any one single release or EP. We are often considered to be 'eclectic' since we tend to cover so many styles and genres and the music reviewer David Franklin called our American Dreams and Unity albums 'wide-ranging, eclectic, funky and timeless'... so that seemed to fit!

Influences
We have been recently compared to Steely Dan but some reviewers out there, of but we also are influenced by Bowie, Elton, Queen, Morrissey, Genesis, Manhattan Transfer, Level42, Lettuce, Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Metheny just to name a few.
