Vocalist/guitarist and bass player seeking a percussionist to do some subtle drum work for some acoustic covers.
Covering Stereophonics, Travis, Seal, Thirteen Senses, The Shore, Keane, Remy Zero in an chilled acoustic style. Not looking for
someone with a 20 piece drum kit... looking for basic brush drums...snare/cymbals/shakers/hand drums and whatever other subtle percussion you might have that
would lend well to a coffee-house or relaxed pub sort of atmosphere.
Also looking for a keyboardist. To add some strings, piano, etc as needed.
Have practice space in Naperville near rt59 and 95th. We're a couple of 30+ year old guys looking to get out and have some fun playing regularly at pubs and coffeehouses or wherever
else some mellow acoustic pop covers would go over well. Nothing serious. Just something to scratch the itch. Maybe eventually we'd create some originals. But we have a list
of covers to start for now.
