A Live EP was released in 2014.

Allen Weber's Hot Shock is booked to perform at the 30th Annual Cathedral Festival taking place Feb 27 - March 1 at 101 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, FL (in conjunction with St. Augustine's 450th Year Celebration).

We will be kicking off the live music for the festival performing Friday Feb 27 from 6 - 7:45 pm.

We will also be at the 17th Annual Coral Gables Bluesfest
taking place March 12-15.

We will be performing Saturday March 14 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm

My Hot Shock band has shared the stage with several Grammy winners including Larry Mitchell, and Latin Grammy winner Alex Cuba, performed at music festivals, and other venues, and in 2013 filmed an episode for a local Jacksonville TV show on the CW network called YourJaxMusic (the episodes aired in May, June and July 2014).

Always on the lookout for great musicians!
Specifically: Drums, Keys and Bass.

Hot Shock Music is rhythmically complex and involving, while being dynamic and fiery.

You could describe our music this way:
Jazz-rock/Fusion infused with Latin, Carribeo (Tropical), Funk, Blues, R & B and Rock

You could almost say it is World Jazz Fusion

I call our style of music:
Sandunga Jazz Fusion (Groove with Energy)

I am interested in Solid Pocket/Groove players ONLY, great TIMING, feel, DYNAMICS, ability to CREATE AND HOLD A POCKET and Do their instrument's job in relation to the rest of the instruments.

The music is a combination of original compositions and original arrangements of songs we cover.

WARNING: This is NOT a situation where you will just be able to fake it. It will require you to work and learn the songs and feel. So if you want to just show up and play, you are not right for this. The good thing is, IF you know what you are doing it is not difficult.

Yes, I have charts, mp3's and in some cases mp3 of just guitar so you can figure out what you want to do with the tune and feel, and see where the changes go, etc.

It is fun stuff, great pocket/groove, and challenging.

If you can play this type of music and are interested contact me through bandmix or call 904.894.8384 and we can arrange a time to get together and play some to see how it works.
