Hard Hop is a blend of Hip Hop and Hard Rock combining heavy guitar and bass layed down over breakbeatz filled with classic Hip Hop samples. illa gorillaz' emcees, Tony Knox and Emcee² bring back a style reminiscent of the earlier days of hip hop, with deliveries that can be both laid back and aggressive. Guitarist, Jenkinz, throws down hard driving riffs that can only be described as hardcore, while drummer Milan brings that beat back with a nod to the old school. In a time when Hip Hop has lost itself to commercial beats and lyrics that all sound the same, and Rock has become soft, illa gorillaz create a refreshing sound sure to rock the crowd! .illagorillaz
