IMA is an integrated music, media and event ecosystem designed to develop and sustain local music scenes on a national basis.
Mr. Okkonen has brokered thousands of music, media and marketing deals and has produced dozens of events over the course of three decades in the entertainment business in New York, LA and Nashville. He has worked for ASCAP, The Harry Fox Agency, The Screen Actors Guild and iHeart Media. Notable clients have included Aretha Franklin, Chuck Barry, Alan Jackson, Gloria Estefan, EMI, Warner Music, Coke, , the US Army, Madison Square Gardens, Joe Louis Arena, NBC, Disney, and Pandora among many, many others.
Through IMA he now turns his attention to creating a comprehensive set of services for indies to level the playing field.
