ABOUT

Incahoots [IN-kuh-HOOTS] is a cover/tribute band in Boca Raton, Florida. We deliver upbeat danceable songs fusing the roots side of rock with the rock side of country, the island vibes of reggae with the feel-good vibes of blues, soul, and bluegrass to remind us where we are and where we came from. We seek the less anticipated deep cuts over the popular hits most cover bands play, because we have more freedom of interpretation. We incorporate the sounds of the 70s, 80s, and 90s with their contemporary counterparts, sometimes even in creative medleys or mash-ups.

Incahoots was started as a drum-bass-guitar trio in the San Francisco area in 2016, with the addition of a dedicated female vocalist a few years later. Three of the four members (drums, bass, and vocalist) collectively migrated to Boca Raton, Florida in 2021. The fourth member (guitar) is a long-distance bonus, though we hope he'll make the migration at some point in the future. Since then, we added two new members (guitar; keys) to complete our give-piece rhythm & blues revue lineup. We are particularly strong in the vocal department, and like to spice up the vocal harmonies on most of our songs.

We are long-time friends, each with a lifetime of musical/gigging background of their own, and with a few gigs under our belt as Incahoots. We have great chemistry and play for the fun of it more than anything else, but we look forward to getting a regular gig schedule going in the South Florida market.
