Hey all, I am a drummer looking for folks to jam with and eventually building a band. I am not really looking for a cover band nor am I looking to be out gigging every weekend. I am looking to build a relationship with other like minded musicians. I am one of those guys that really wanna be tightly locked in with the folks im playing with. Of course that takes time, practice, and dedication. The only reason for doing this is for the joy of collaborating with others and becoming a part of something you can't do on your own.
Ultimately I would love to write and record an album to release free online. Then get out and do some gigging. All for the satisfaction of creating some quality music and building friendships.
I am not looking for flaky people at all. If you dont have you life together, or you have drug issues, job issues, jail issues, equipment issues, etc... you are probably not who I'm looking for. I do understand things happening and rutts that we all sometimes get into.

All time favorite band is probably Pantera with Sevendust being a really close 2nd.
I came from the 80s hair bands like Poison, Ozzy, Twisted Sister,
Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Megadeath, Metallica, etc. The
90s Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in chains, Creed, etc.
