I’m 19 years old and currently play in a few bands. I am classically trained and spent 6 years in an orchestra. I like to believe I’m the only concert master in my highschools chamber orchestra to wear a tux with boots and a mullet lol. Been playing “fiddle” and country music for a little over 2 years now but have an extensive knowledge of country music… given that’s all I’ve ever really listened to. If I don’t know the song, give me the key and I’ll make something up. Or don’t tell me the key and I’ll use my ear to figure it out. My formal training through private lessons and college courses have helped me tremendously to understand music theory, so music is practically another language I’m fluent in.
