ABOUT

I have always been drawn to the soulful and raw sound of blues music. From the first time I heard the haunting wail of a blues guitar, I was hooked. There is something about the deep emotion and honesty in blues music that resonates with me on a profound level. It speaks to the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, and the music itself seems to come from a place of deep authenticity.

My love for blues music started at a young age, when I first heard the music of legends like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Howlin' Wolf. Their powerful voices and soulful guitar playing left an indelible impression on me, and I quickly became obsessed with exploring additional genres. I delved into the history of blues music, learning about its origins in the Mississippi Delta and its evolution into various subgenres like Chicago blues and Delta blues.

As I continued to immerse myself in the world of blues music, I realized that I wanted to take my passion to the next level. I wanted to not only listen to and appreciate the music, but also to create it myself. That's when I decided that I wanted to play piano and guitar.

Influences

Since I was a child, I have been captivated by the soulful sounds and electrifying energy of blues and rock music. These genres have a certain rawness and authenticity that always resonated with me, and there are a few classic and contemporary musicians who I hold in particularly high regard. T Bone Walker, U2, and Bruce Springsteen are among the artists who have made a profound impact on me as a music lover and have inspired my own musical pursuits.

T Bone Walker, often referred to as the father of the electric blues guitar, was a true pioneer in the world of blues music. His dynamic guitar playing and smooth vocals set the standard for generations of blues and rock musicians to come. I have always been drawn to Walker's ability to infuse his music with emotion and passion, and his influence can be heard in the work of countless artists who followed in his footsteps.

U2, the iconic Irish rock band, has been a constant source of inspiration for me since I first discovered their music. Their anthemic sound and thought-provoking lyrics have the power to move listeners in a way that few other bands can. The band's longevity and commitment to using their platform for social and political activism only deepens my admiration for them. U2's ability to connect with audiences on such a profound level is something that I aspire to achieve in my own music.

The Boss is another musician who has had a profound impact on me. His storytelling prowess and ability to capture the essence of the American spirit in his music is truly second to none. Springsteen's ability to blend elements of rock, blues, and folk music into a singular, powerful sound has always been a source of inspiration for me.

I am also drawn to other classic and contemporary blues and rock musicians such as Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Gary Clark Jr., and The Black Keys. Each of these musicians brings their own unique perspective and style to the genres of blues and rock, and I am constantly inspired by their innovative and groundbreaking work.
