SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Violin, Keyboard, Piano.ABOUT
To be honest, I sing similarly to and very well, all of the following artists and bands (to the point of imitation if desired).
Roy Orbison, Jim Morrison-The Doors, John Conlee, The Beatles, Merle Haggard, The Animals-Eric Burdon, Toby Keith, Scott McKenzie, Alan Jackson, Procol Harum, Andre Bocelli, Cat Stevens, The Moody Blues, Elvis Presley, The Eagles, Larry Gatlin, Neil Diamond; and a lot more.
I started singing in church at 3 years of age, besides choir in High School, I sang for many weddings, funerals ( including both my parents' funerals). I sang in my first rock band when I was a Sophomore in high school.
While working at a Radio Station in 1971-72 in Livingston, MT, 2 members of a band (I don't remember the name of the group now) who opened for the Rolling Stones in the early to the mid-60's (They said it was the Stones' second tour,) called me while I was on the air at the station one night and asked if I would like to sing with them. Naturally, I said yes. After one 3-hour session, when I finished singing "Stairway to heaven," they asked me if I would like to go on tour with the new band they were forming.
When I told my wife about the opportunity, she said, "If you accept, I will divorce you."

Influences
Early Rock and Roll, especially the Beatles, Elvis, and some Soul Music...
I have always had a thing for lyrics and great melodies.
Music was pretty boring for me until Rock came along.
EQUIPMENT
I have some equipment now, and I am prepared to buy whatever is needed to update and suit the needs of the opportunity. I am looking into it now for rehearsals.
