ABOUT

Multi-Instrumentalist and singer.

I am first and foremost, a Celtic musician, playing for over 20 years in Irish session groups. Within this genre, my main instruments are: Irish flute, pennywhistle, and bodhran drum.

In 2000 I founded the "Tacoma Celtic Players", a weekly Irish session with 30 members. In 2005, I established the "WA State Native American Flute Circle" which rapidly expanded o include over 2,000 members.

"Jug of Punch!" was established in 2010- and was one of the most in-demand Irish performing bands in the Seattle metro area.

Featured on KOMO4 news, and the Travel channel, JOP were featured performers at venues: Taste of Tacoma, Galway Bay Irish Festival, Seattle Folklife, Columbia Tower, 2007 Tall Ships Festival, Seattle Irish Festival, Seattle Gaels Hurling Team, Tacoma Folkfest, Bremerton Maritime Festival, Seattle Space Needle, Tacoma and Orting Fire Department(s), Tacoma 9-11 commemorative Ceremonies, Puyallup Irish Festival, Tacoma, Bellingham, Seatttle, King County, and Prosser Scottish Highland Games, WA State Renaissance Fair, for Governor Ralph Munro (Ret.) and the Clan Munro...
...and 100s more!

Currently a soloist, my repotoire includes folk and soft rock of the 60s through 80s, country, and current covers, as well as a vast Celtic repertoire including traditional instrumentals, beautiful ballads, rousing sea shanties and sing alongs

... and of course, drinking songs guaranteed to get your hands-a-clappin' and your toes-a-tappin!

Thank you for your interest in my music, and God Bless!

*Venues include cafes/bistros, wineries, brewpubs, campgrounds/resorts, B&Bs, and private events.
