JB and The Hillbillies is a Rock-A-Billy style 5 piece Cover Band, who have been together for many years. It is a Father and Son duo up front, Jeff and Jesse Baker on the Lead and Rhythm guitars, Jeff Marcum on the Bass, John Kanott on the Keyboards, and Myself James Loveday on the Drums. This band has endured many a Drummer over the years, due to uncommitted people. They play for awhile, and then the drummer goes AWOL for a period of time, or indefinitely.....But i am different. I am leaving the band to expand my career, and i want them to be able to play without fear of their drummer skipping off just before a gig, or skipping town for a week without notice. In short: YOU MUST BE COMMITTED AND WILLING TO PLAY!!!! I was, and still am, but this style of music is not for me anymore. I'm ready to branch out and play what i want to play, write original tunes, and play other styles of music, such as Very Heavy Stuff!! I just want the Hillbillies to be able to continue on without me, but they cant do that without a great drummer to back them up. The Hillbillies are ready, the question is...ARE YOU READY? I myself have only 10+yrs.exp, and it would help if you had the same or better. Must be able to play music by the artist's mentioned above, and willing to learn new material as it comes out on the radio. THIS IS A MUST!!

WE HAVE IT ALL!! EVERYTHING WE NEED TO PLAY ANY SHOW INDOORS OR OUTSIDE, AS LONG AS WE HAVE THE POWER TO RUN OUR EQUIPMENT!! AND A VAN TO TRANSPORT IT ALL!! All we lack is a Good DEPENDABLE, DEPENDABLE, D E P E N D A B L E!!! Drummer, who can play well, and keep time.
