hi! i'm julian. i'm a 19 year old musician looking to start/join a project w/ some potential friends. i've been playing the drums for about 9 years now, and i play a few other instruments too! i can also sing pretty well i guess, but we can leave that up to interpretation.

i've always been interested in joining/creating some musical endeavor. i really value the creative outlet it gives, which is something i could use now more than ever. i can play to just about any style and will do everything i can to make things as interesting and enjoyable as possible.

i'm from the milwaukee area and have reliable transportation.

Influences

my influences come from all over the place. i listen to and appreciate a lot of different styles and genres. i typically listen to black metal, alt rock, shoegaze, post punk, punk, synth pop, funk, noise and folk music. as such, i've really taken to playing around and experimenting with different techniques. i'm a very aimless person and don't always like to shut myself in to one style, though i'm definitely not opposed to doing so for a bit.

i would say my favorite musician all around is jori apedaile of eneferens. my favorite drummer (musically) is george daniel of the 1975.

other bands/musicians i enjoy are darkthrone, cattle decap, death, zeal & ardor, none, sadness, unreqvited, delaying the inevitable, raegan youth, bad religion, suicidal tendencies, rancid, coldworld, heretoir, vokonis, messa, lesbian, violet cold, foret d'hiver, ground, helmet, the tower, m83, bleachers, deftones, joy division, depeche mode, anum preto, nena, fugazi, gang of four, ariel pink, dr dog, and so so so much more. just ask me!
