ABOUT

Mostly I am looking for a band that needs a bass player, but open to stricking up a new band. I'm not really into reading music. Mostly play bass by ear. I can also play guitar at basic performance level as rhythm and simple leads. Singing as backup and harmony is prefered over lead, and not singing at all is even better, but, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get the song out. Influences

Really like the 'alternative' approach to music. Flunk metal and crock rock appeal to me, too. Enjoy performing original renditions and originals. Not a big fan of doing copies or tributes. Influences.. wow.. seriously.. in this teeny space? All music types have influenced me. Bass players whose style I admire - John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, Lemmy, Dennis Dunaway, Sting, Paul McCartney.. bass players who bridged the rhythm and melody role of bass along with great leads.
