I am a primarily self-taught singer/guitarist who has been playing guitar for 12 years and singing (usually simultaneously) for 10, and have been frontman for all my bands; however, either singing or playing is also appealing. Though I don't formally read music, I have a decent understanding of theory, as I understand and am able to play in odd time as well as focusing on harmonization and most of all giving the song what it NEEDS, not overplaying.
