Composer/guitarist thinking about starting an avant-garde/art-rock ensemble with vocals and/or harmony vocals.
Looking for the following instrumentalists:Drums/percussion, keys/piano, woodwinds, electronics, bass (upright/electric/or both), cello/strings, etc.. Vocals are a big plus, but not necessary.
I am interested in using the music sytle and production of the late '60s/early '70s, combined with modern electronics and vocals, as a starting point and then evolving from there. The idea would be to create involved compositions with a wide palette of sounds ranging from rock to ambient to jazz to groove to electronic to whatever.
Gigs would hopefully follow.
