ABOUT

I’m in a new startup metal cover band without a band name at the moment. We have two guitarists (including myself), and a vocalist. We just bought a new pair of JBL PRX835 powered PA speakers, and a Mackie ProFx16v3 mixing board to make a big, full, and clear sound for all band members to hear themselves through. Eventually we are going to get a good in-ear monitoring system as well. You will sound amazing through this rig all mic’d up.

I probably should have mentioned this sooner lol, but we are looking to find an experienced bassist and drummer in the Phoenix area, who can play in the styles of Pantera, Sepultura, Slayer, White Zombie, Metallica, Lamb of God, Megadeth among others. We currently have a good set list with multiple songs from each of the mentioned bands. Both guitar players have 20+ years playing and we are in the 35-45 age range.

We rent our own studio space at Francisco Studios in Central West Phoenix, and it’s a killer chill spot to hang out and have fun. No moving your gear all the time for rehearsal. Once auditioned, and we connect with each other, you will be expected to eventually help with the rent. However, this will end up being a 4 or 5 piece band, so the cost will be fractional. Call or email me for details if you’re interested.

Influences

Most rock and metal from the 80's and 90's. Metallica were my heroes growing up, but my tastes have grown as I've aged! I love Pantera, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Judas Priest, and those kinds of metal bands, but I also like a lot of alternative, rock, southern rock, ballad rock, progressive rock and several genres of metal.
