Started playing in 1969 when I was six. Father was a musician (Guitar, Piano) and we had a lot of musician friends over playing often. At age 12 I played in my first band, won the School band competition, 14 I played my first Bar gig. Fathers rythem player quit, put me in there. Stage at Emma Giles Tavern in Fells Point, Baltimore. Had a lengthy military career and owned a lot of Guitars, Amps and other gear. Never had the time to get really good. Played on and off when I had the time, Open Mic's, Campfire stuff.

Influences
First influence was my father who's band won the Battle of the Bands in Baltimore in 1961 and an RCA-Victor Recording Contract. Then a lot of other relatives including my grandfather and his brothers. All guitarists from Georgia.
My influences span a wide range. Growing up with a musician father and other family members it was everything from Classical to Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Folk, all the way to Greek String Orchestra's, Polka and German Blas Musik.
