I am a 26yr African American and Native American female. Disabled army national guard veteran. I'm not professional by all means but music is something that has always been a part of my life and it has been something that I would dedicate my life to in a heartbeat if I saw that opportunity. Singing has always been something that was on and off in my life professionally in school and vocal classes. Sung on a sing team in elementary school, in middle school I went to vocal lessons for 2yrs and was in a performance arts school. Took a few college courses of vocal and choir just because I wanted to sing again. In middle school I switched to band and learned how to play clarinet and also was part of percussion, playing the snare drum. I haven't read music since 2017 but I do have the ability refresh on it if needed. I can read music for clarinet, percussion instruments and vocal. When I was 13 I took private vocal lessons for 2yrs. Currently I have not been in any form of professional singing in a long time but music and singing is something that is a part of me so I still practice singing in my car for a few hours. Rock and post hardcore have always been my favorite type of music so I often sing to crossfade, three days grace, flyleaf, PVRIS, In This Moment, linkin park, etc. Currently practicing trying to learn how to scream.
