Hello everybody! My name is Jesse and I am currently representing my band, The Divine, while we search for a drummer to complete our lineup! We are searching for the right individual to make this band as great as it can be, and more importantly, an individual who shares the same goals, aspirations, and interests as we do. But first, a little more about the band!

About the Band:
Our band consists of two Vocalists/Guitarists and one Bassist, ages 19 and 20 respectively, whose musical roots stem from the largest bands in the Classic Rock and Indie Rock genres. Taking queues from these artists, The Divine has grown into a professional rock band, headlining paid shows in premium venues all across Southern California, including, but not limited to: The House of Blues Anaheim, Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center, The Glass House, and many others. Recently, The Divine has been featured in the local newspapers as a band to watch all throughout the Southern California area. As one booking agent said of The Divine, "[they] graced our stage with a very unique sound! Definitely looking forward to seeing them perform again. Their commitment, ambition, and attitudes show that big things are in store for them." The Divine is currently looking forward to recording their debut album, due out by the end of this year, at Hear No Evil Studios in Orange County, California!

Some of our favorite drummer include: Keith Moon, John Bonham, Matt Helders, Fab Moretti, Jimmy Chamberlain, Dominic Howard, Ringo Starr, Alan White, and many others!

About What We Want In A Drummer:
-Ages 16-22
-Must have professional aspirations
-Should have own car, but not necessary if you are a good fit.
-Must share similar influences.
-Must have good image, or are willing to adopt one.
-Must be available during band days (Friday Afternoons, Saturday, Sunday Mornings)
-If minor, must have supportive parents or figurative emancipation musically.
-Must have job/source of income other than The Divine, prospectively.
-Must be willing to take criticism/provide criticism for the band on songs.
-Be willing to sacrifice personal time for the band. (We all do.)
-Must have a decent sense of humor and a reasonable affinity for pop culture of yesterday and today!

Logistics/FAQ:

Where is practice held?
-Practice is held in Lake Elsinore, in a 24 hour studio in our guitarist, Jesse's house. And no, we will not move our practice space to accommodate you. Trouble getting to our practice space will be addressed further.

Does the band make money?
-Yes, the band gets paid shows, however, the pay is exactly proportional to the effort we put in as unit. If you are relying on this band to pay the bills, this sadly may not be the band for you.

I think I may be a good fit, but I don't have a car.
-If you are truly a good fit, the band does not mind driving roughly a hundred miles to retrieve you and bring you back for practice, we have done it before and will do it again if the ideal situation calls for it (i.e. you provide gas money, we provide the ride).

Why the large area of interest?
-Simply because practice is held in Lake Elsinore, one of our guitarists goes to Cal State Fullerton, while the other lives at and attends San Diego State. We have no qualms with picking you up/hanging out with you if you live in these areas.

I have a kit, but it's not the best quality.
-Not to worry my sweet summer child, our practice space hosts a Ludwig Legacy Liverpool kit with a full set of both Paiste Signature and Sabian Paragon cymbal packs. It looks and sounds as great as Ringo's kit back in the 60's!

I'm too young/old for the age requirements.
