Took ten years of classical violin lessons as a child and converted to fiddle in my twenties. I played with about six country rock bands spanning 35 years in Central Illinois. I earned a quarter of million dollars playing the fiddle and keyboards over this period. I recorded in Nashville on numerous occasions and was hired to play with a Conway Twitty tribute band to tour Europe in 2007. I'm retired now just looking to play in a low-key duo or trio, no bands. I played keyboards also during this period, but the fiddle is my forte.
