I've been playing drums since the 5th grade. In that time I have studied under several private instructors and through different institutes to learn the many possibilities of styles and feels a drumset can create. For the past three years I've spent time studying jazz at the Washington Conservatory of Music and the Jazz Workshop in Washington, DC and playing with several great groups before moving to NYC. These include Like Irus, The Differents, Jazz to the 'Bone, E&ME and more.
Back when it came time to go to college, I took up the acoustic guitar. Once settled in DC, I began playing at open mic nights, performing covers as well as original instrumentals.
