My name is Joe Michelette and I'm moving to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career with a rock band! I am 26 years old and I've been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. My playing style is straightforward loud, aggressive dirty blues rock on lead, having learned how to play mostly through improvised jam sessions which were the very inspiration for me wanting to learn the instrument well in the first place, and a variety of rhythm styles that I pride myself in with everything from classic rock to acoustic ballads to punk to thrash metal. I 100% intend on making this a career and I'm looking for like minded people who want to make this happen. Looking for a powerhouse vocalist and lyricist, a solid bass player, a kickass drummer, and anyone we pick up along the way.
With 16 years of guitar experience having played on legendary stages such as the Stone Pony in New Jersey, 15 years of independent video production experience, 7 years of running my own recording studio, having done live camera work for Van's Warped Tour, Post Malone, Toby Keith, and Tool through various International Stage Unions, and travelled extensively around the USA, I am ready to go the distance on this.
