I've been playing acoustic guitar and singing since college. When I lived back in the DC area I got a lot of experience playing at bars and open mic nights. However since moving to NH in 2001 and having a son, that's taken a back seat.

A few years ago I met a bunch of guys in our new neighborhood looking to form a band. Having no one to play bass I decided to pick it up and run with it. It was a great decision. Since first getting together in the fall of 2006, we've played dozens of shows and established ourselves a band that can deliver a full evening of tunes and a party atmosphere. But lately things have become a little boring so I'm looking to see what else is out there. Yes - I am cheating on my band.

While I do have a great time playing bass, I know my true passion is acoustic guitar. I'd also like to get some more time behind the mic. I'd love to connect with another guitarist with similar tastes. Someone who can sing would be even better.

Second to that I'd like to find an incomplete band looking for either a lead vocalist, bassist, rhythm guitarist, or any combination thereof.

Influences

Just so we don't waste each other's time, this will still be a hobby for me so if you're looking to play gigs and practice four and five nights a week, I'm not your guy. Also not that age is a deal breaker but I'd prefer someone at the same stage of life (i.e. settled, responsible, educated). I do have practice space and plenty of PA and recording equipment.

As far as the music itself I have wide interests. My current band plays covers of classic rocks tunes, almost exclusively. That's fine but I wouldn't mind writing original songs and trying out other styles including country and adult-alternative.
