ABOUT

I am trying to locate a bass guitarist who can sing some lead vocals for duo performaces locally around Fort Smith area up to about a 50 0r 60 mile radius of Fort Smith Arkansas. We woukld have to rehearse a bit to start and I prefer to do so in Ozark , Arkansas at my residence. I have never learned to sing harmonies because I was always designated the lead vocalist with all the bands I have played with. I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee via San Diego, CA to retire in Ozark AR at the end of the road, middle of the woods .

Influences

1954 thru 1963 rockabilly and old time rock n roll . and some later soft rock music and country music from the 1950's thru 1970s and mid 1980s also some classic pop tunes .. Restaurants , bars private functions. I play electric guitar , ES-335 Gibson and use a Roland TR 707 Electronic drum machine and I have all the vocal sound eqpt that will handle electric bass also, although most bass guitarists generally. prefer to use their own amplication. I have no intentions of playing full . time again, I did that in the 70s and early 80's, mostly solo gigs. I am retired and can play most anytime except Sundays. Don't like playing outdoors but could if its Springtime or Autumn. I would like to gig 2 or 3 nights a week if the monetary situation is good. I am not ready to give up my music playing yet !
