I'm sure this is true for a lot of musicians who grew up in the Bible Belt but my love for music began in Church. It's where I learned how music could have such a powerful effect on people. It became my passion and a huge part of my life. I soon started playing the guitar and listening to everything I could get my hands on . Most of what I could get my hands on was what my dad had. A radio that stayed tuned to a country station. Playing for a living was what I wanted to do. Musicians understand what I'm talking about. To keep this short ... I followed that dream on the weekends for several years eventually turning it into 80+ dates a year with some years gigging 120 times while still working full time. I eventually signed with a record label and recorded an album but it never took off. Which brings me to now. I am looking for a drummer and a guitarist who could also sing background vocals for small acoustic gigs. I lost my ego a long time ago and I just want to play for fun and a little extra money.
