SEEKING LEAD GUITAR.
All original eclectic vocally driven jazzy/folk inspired band seeking energetic, guitarist to join acoustic guitar with vocals and skilled young drummer.
-Weekly practice in Charlestown - less if the player is accomplished and reads chord charts. In that case, it could be just be before a gig, once the songs are fully learned.
Play by ear? No problem.
Lots of room for improvisation.
-Generally we practice once a week in with the goal of recording and live performance at festivals and listening spaces in New England. We go on hiatus much of the summer, so not much happening then (unless there are gigs in Maine or Nova Scotia ????)
-Two paid gigs on the docket – one in March and one in July.
-The ability to also play bass (on certain songs) and sing harmony would be great.
-This a serious but fun project. Upbeat attitude/stage presence and energy necessary.
-Some short recent video can be seen on or justloveband (former band members in some) and on be Just Love Band RI.
