Progressive rock/metal bassist looking for a progressive rock or metal band to start or join. Joining is tricky, I'm a natural band leader and though I can slappa-da-bass my real skill set lies in arrangements and composition. So I'd like to start a brand-new band with a brand-new name and brand-new music, BUT I have spent almost two years doing that and well, it's harder than it seems. So otherwise please be a band that is already exactly what I am looking for and needs a bass player :^D
I've been a guitarist for longer but there's a million of those fu*kers out there and I simply can't compete with sheer numbers. I'm only adequate as a lead player but as a rhythm player I can hold my own quite admirably.
I'm also an actor/director and videographer so I have a certain appreciation for the image a band needs to be successful nowadays. I bring to the table experience in music video production. I have professional lights, a high quality camera and pro editing software, and I know how to use them! The GasHead video over there on the left of your screen is something I did as a student and I can show you a few other videos I've done for other bands.

Tonight I wear Black
Tonight I wear Black Genre: Metal
An unreleased song by my old band GasHead, unmastered but this song was mostly arranged by me and features some decent bass soloing. It's also extremely epic.

Skeletal Genre: Metal
By my old band GasHead, this has Chris Poland playing solo guitar (I should point out that it is Mike Lopez playing the sick shit at first, you'll hear the change when Poland takes over.) My bass sounds pretty sick in this song. The song arrangement was mostly my own, though as always with GasHead it was a full band effort putting this song together. Fucking epic!
