Even at 8 years old I was writing notebooks worth of songs and album ideas, singing as a way to cope with life

My musical journey has been an extensive and colorful one, but I am grateful for every part of the way and about moving ahead!

I am always open to collaborating with like minded serious individuals. Feel free to reach out anytime!

I am looking to work with those who are also interested in making marketable songs for commercial use, as well. The sky is really the limit.

My main genre is alternative rock/pop since I’m a rebel at heart.

Infusing styles and taking the listener on a journey through an original piece is more my forte. Creating songs that sound like a soundtrack to a film and are cinematic, is essentially what I aim for.

I have an at home studio and can send .wav and .mp3 files, so we can really work from anywhere in the world!

I do come up with ideas on the fly, but also come up with ideas from samples and guitar riffs.

Also, I am open to bands that tour(not just cover bands), and will travel for the right opportunities. Have experience from being in punk/SKA and alternative bands in DC to Hollywood, to a central Wisconsin cover band (Got Wisco?) that covered Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots to Tom Petty, Foo Fighters, No Doubt, etc.

As a writer, I write melodies and lyrics quicklyI I bring lots of versatility to the table, and have never liked to be boxed in idea wise. Very experienced, but also reliable. A lot of my music I am currently working on is about overcoming struggles, trauma, and finding the strength inside to keep going no matter what.

Influences

Motown, funk, soul singers like Aretha Franklin, to doo-wop, and mainly rock 'n roll of all kinds. Music with power vocals that take you on a journey and tell a story both instrumentally and through the lyrics. Cinematic and songs that build- icons include Michael Jackson, Prince and David Bowie. I am heavily influenced by the 80s and 90s (pop, hip hop to all rock and emo) and enjoy infusing different styles. Nirvana, Van Halen,, Alice In Chains, No Doubt. I like to incorporate a modern edge full of soul that transcends genres. I love bands like Chevelle, Saosin, Deftones, Killswitch engage, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New- I listen to a lot of music and appreciate incorporating a harder even metal style with melodic ranging vocals! We don’t have to like the same styles of music to make some magic! I am inspired endlessly ; it would be impossible to list all!
