ABOUT

Bass Player
Played since '75 or so. Learn by ear. And getting shouted at. "NOT LIKE THAT! LIKE THIS!" (That was the 70s)

Always avoided the standard "POP" scene. So, limited experience playing with others.

Never had a desire to play, 'all the songs that were played on the radio all day long', at the bar later that night.
Always longed for something different.
Generally interested in the 'B' side of the record. Or songs that aren't 'so overplayed on the radio', and by 'every other band in town'.
More interested in different songs, or different 'Versions' of songs. Or, 'arrangements' for you aficionados...

Did a Loud Obnoxious Rock thing downstate in the 80s that was fun.
And did a Nice 3pc Blues thing in the mid late 90s that was pretty cool.
That one had a Great front guy, and a Great Drummer.
Guitar singer front guy basically carried the thing. It was his 'act'. Talented guy with some cool originals and stuff. Drummer and I are friends and just supported the Front guy so he could do his thing and it worked. Happy audiences always. Happy bar managers. Made it fun. Didn't play Any Sap Rock! Everything was cool.

Kind of been away from the scene since then so, haven't met people to do a similar thing. Just been doing basement/garage jam band thing with friends for past decade or so. That and collecting and trading instruments, and 'Jamming to the Stereo'...
And be.
