ABOUT

Lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and can double on bass guitarist looking for gig with solid players. I've been a lot of places and played the biggest and the smallest stages across the country. I've played for 70,000 and I've played for 7. Mostly into working with other people that can sing and have a very rock solid drummer that "drives the bus". Day gig is in the entertainment industry as well. Prefer to gig 1X a week, but open to playing more if people are happening. Also plays mandolin and acoustic guitars. I've been in some seriously big country bands in the 90's and late 00's that did all the big country festivals across Wisconsin, and my classic rock days in the Fox Valley had me playing for huge Harley rider events. I don't "audition", I'm more of the let’s get together and see what kind of sound happens at this point. If you're looking for a key addition whether its as a singer or just a support musician, I am your guy. My bread and butter was as a bassist, but have been on guitars mostly in the past 20 years.

Influences

Ian Hunter, Petty, Paul Rodgers, Sammy Hagar, Phil Mogg, Pat Travers and Kevin Cronin are big vocal influences. I love classic rock, classic country, Americana, roots music, progressive rock. I like to entertain and see people happy and dancing.

EQUIPMENT

28 acoustic guitars, electric guitars, basses, mandolins and banjos. My electrics are Fenders and Gibson's, my acoustics are CF Martin, Sigma and Yamaha, mandolins are vintage 70's Arias, and Dean Banjos. Electric rig is Marshall DSL100 head, Marshall 4x12 bottom, Marshall DSL40C combo amp. Bass rig is Ashdown, SWR and 12 custom boxes. Effect pedals are standard issue stuff. I use Audix and Shure hardwired mics, and Audio Technica wireless handheld. I also use an Audio Technica IEM rig with UE earbuds, 16ch Behringer digital mixer, 24 fixture LED lightshow with front and rear trussing.
