She was deployed to Iraq from 2007-2008. She truely has a heart for her military family. In 2012 Kelly performed with many local artist from Georgia and won the title of Today's Country Idol 2012 with WYNR Radio Station 102.5. She has recently shared the stage with Big Smo,Cody McCarver and LowCash Cowboys. Coming straight out of Glennville, GA, Kelly Ballard is a wonderful and fresh talent in the world of Country music. She has a powerful and sometimes raspy voice. She sings with character and sexiness that just hooks you into the song. Her first single "When You Go" created quite a buzz both nationally and internationally. Her follow up single "Murder Creek",released in July 9, 2012, is an edgy rockin' country beat that is a testament to the versatility of this artist. As an up and coming artist she is surely in the ranks with some of Nashville's best female country artist.
