I'm 59 and love all music. Have played in a number of bands up in Salem. One band played heavier 70s music (Black Sabbath B-sides, Rare Earth, Kiss, Nugent, Robin Trower, Pat Travers, etc.) and another played classic rock/country (the Cars, Merle Haggard, FGL, Eagles, Tom Petty, etc.). Relocated to Medford area two months ago and want to join a working band or to form one. Have probably played 50-75 paid gigs. Getting back into it after lay off of about 8 years. Really easy to get along with. Pro gear. Always on time, and no issues.

Influences
Man, I don't know where to start. For now, I've really been digging Steve Earle, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Outlaw Country and think a band covering this kinda stuff would be a blast. However, I love and would happily play Little River Band, Jeff Beck, KISS, Rare Earth, Skynyrd, Stones, Hank Jr., Wilson Pickett, Shuggie Otis, Temptations, Velvet Underground.... You get the idea. My motto is, "If you play it, I probably love it!"
I can't promise to play all of that right out of the box, but I'm a pretty quick study.
