I am an average musician looking to find a group that wants to practice and play on a regular basis. I would like to be playing original music, but I will play about anything. I appreciate most live music regardless of the Genre because music is a form of art and everyone may not play the same song the same way.
I play guitar, sing and drums. Drums are what I like to do. I have been playing Christian music for 10 years. I played drums for 8 and have been playing guitar and singing for about 5 years. I am not great, but I love it. I go out and lead worship services and have always been asked to come back. So it must be OK.
Besides looking for Christian music,
I would want to be in a moving forward mode, would like to be out playing in the next couple of months.
I would really love for someone who has played southern rock and classic rock from the 70's-80's to play music with. I wasn't into playing music back then and really missed the boat. There are so many great classic rock songs. I play drums, but I have never been in a situation where I have had to try and copy a drummer. Everything I have played on drums has just been free-ssyle based the atmosphere I am trying to create.
I am open for jamming, playing events or what ever, bottom line is I want to hang out with other musicians and have a good time. I would love to learn to play some of the music I grew up on.
The only thing I won't play is stuff against God.
