Hi! It's lovely to e-meet you :) I have a bit of an eclectic musical background. I started playing classical piano at age 4, picked up cello at age 10, and began singing at age 17. I've trained most seriously in playing classical cello (including being lucky enough to perform with an orchestra at Carnegie Hall), but in the past 5 years I've let my focus on music go as I've been prioritizing other things.
The thing I've missed most is singing and I'm hoping to be able to sing with a small group. Most of my vocal training comes from singing Slavic music in college with an a cappella group (no, I don't have Slavic roots, and yes, it was a very random chance encounter that made this come to fruition), but I'm an eager and fast learner, I love connecting with other people, and I love being able to do that through music.
