I was primarily a rock/acoustic guitarist and jazz tenor saxophone player for over 10 years but I have since switched to bass as my primary instrument. Here are some highlights from my time as a musician:

High School - Guitar Lessons
- Took guitar/bass lessons from Joe Rodriguez, former touring guitarist for A Flock of Seagulls
- Worked on writing and producing original album

High School - Tenor Saxophone - High School Band
- 3 years advanced band, 3 years lead tenor saxophone in jazz band
- Arranged/conducted stands tunes for saxophone section to play in the stands

College - Tenor Saxophone - UCF Marching Knights
- Awarded Most Outstanding Woodwind (2 years) and Troy Drigger's Award (1 year) over playing 5 years in the UCF Marching Knights
- Continued leading rehearsals and teaching while on section staff for 4 years

Post-College
- Played 2 seasons with School of Rock Highlands Ranch Adult Performance Band, switched to bass guitar as primary instrument
- Played at The Aztlan Theatre with blues rock band Talkbox, learned 15 songs in 1 month
- Looking to start attending open mic nights/jam sessions
