ABOUT

Long story at bottom: QUICKLY though: Drums to guitar, Rock to Afro-Cuban. Ready to slip into any ALREADY GIGGING band. Would prefer latin jazz / fusion type of stuff with a rock edge, but also completely willing and able to play Poison covers, too; not kidding. Multi-instrument. Have toured Japan and willing to tour again. Gigging since 12 (about 30 years). Live in S AVL, have a 9-5, yet also practice music 2-3hrs /day. Would consider touring if lucrative, and ideally want to gig 3x/wk (whether 100% with you, or between your project and others).

LONGER: So I'm a Tampa Bay, FL youth learning guitar from a classic rock / metal guitarist in early 90's. Skateboarding and gigging in ska and punk bands ensued with an ever growing interest in non-rock oriented stuff, like Jazz. Went to college and gigged all over FL, then finally lived in Japan 4 years where Jazz/Latin would become my other love. Post Japan took lessons from heavy-hitting Jazz guitarist, and here I am, doing the 9-5 but certainly killing the music rehearsal on the daily, from drums to guitar to bass, and always keeping the latin percussion close by. I could drop into a 311 cover band as easily as I could do Jazz Standards, and again, on whatever instrument above. I LOVE MUSIC, BUT GIGGING IS A MUST; I DROP INTO ALREADY ESTABLISHED BANDS, OR AT LEAST W/ PLAYERS THAT ARE IN OTHER ALREADY-ESTABLISHED OUTFITS.

If you've read this far, you're probably digging this. An interesting tidbit is that I co-created/named/played-drums-in a band called Ten13Concept in Orlando in about 2001, and after I left and moved on they ended up on America's Got Talent (I wouldn't cared, but they got told they blew lol).
